A CV needs to be short and clear. Whoever is going to read your CV will definitely not appreciate a long one even if you have a lot to put. Normally a CV should only be two pages long and that’s not a lot of space especially if you’ve been through a lot. And if you caught the person’s interest by the second page, chances are he won’t read through the rest.

Finally, make a follow up with a thank you note. Reiterate that you are interested in the position just so they won’t forget you.

Just because you’re being interviewed doesn’t mean you can’t ask questions. It’s always good to ask questions to show the interviewer that you are serious and you will not take anything less than what you’re interested in. Also give positive answers to the interviewer and never say anything negative about you or your previous company since it can reflect badly on you.
